On Sep 27, 2025, Globe Arizona was struck by massive flash floods that killed 3 people and left hundreds homeless. September 11th is now recognized as a national day of service. On 9/11 of 2025, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints hosted a large gathering of Arizona lds single adults to accomplish a variety of service projects. On January 7, 2025, Wildfires tore through Paradise and Eaton, California. 37,000 acres burned to the ground leaving 31 dead and 150,000 homeless. We gathered donations during the first few weeks to deliver necessary aid to the people in need. Our team deployed in February to assist with clean up and serving those hardest hit.
