National Day of Service (Sep 2025)

September 11th is now recognized as a national day of service. On 9/11 of 2025, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints hosted a large gathering of Arizona lds single adults to accomplish a variety of service projects. Several of these projects were to serve victims of disaster and the supplies would be distributed by HEART.

It was a huge success. We had many come and give their volunteer time. We gathered hygiene kit supplies as well as had 13 large fleece blankets tied. All of the blankets were tied by the end of the service night. As well, we had an amazing amount of hygiene kit donations.

We are grateful for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for hosting this event. As well, We appreciate all of the young single adults that contributed and volunteered. We had no idea that only 2 weeks later, we would use these donations to serve thousands of our fellow Arizonans affected by the Globe floods.
