L.A. Wildfires (Feb 2025)

On January 7, 2025, Wildfires tore through Paradise and Eaton, California. 37,000 acres burned to the ground leaving 31 dead and 150,000 homeless. We gathered donations during the first few weeks to deliver necessary aid to the people in need.

Our team deployed in February to assist with clean up and serving those hardest hit. We helped organize donations at an LDS church in Paradise for many victims to collect what they needed most from household supplies to new furniture.

Our team served with All hands and hearts organizing donations and World Central Kitchen for a few days providing food to those in need. There is one particular family that donations were provided to help them get back on their feet. They were very grateful for the help as they had no idea how to get started again.

Children in an elementary school sent pictures and thank you cards for us to deliver to the fire fighters. We personally delivered these letters which meant so much to them. Overall we did our best to serve those within our reach. We are so grateful to those that donated and made this service trip possible.
